This is my dad, Roger A. Weber. He was my dad for 90 years. He did so much for me. He taught me to drive, he bought me my first guitar. I broke his heart when I chose not to work for the railroad. He broke my heart because he never once did the one thing I so desperately wished for - for him to say to me “I love you.”

Don’t get me wrong. He was a wonderful provider for our family. He showed love his way, in the best way he knew how. He gave me a good life, but he just couldn’t say the most important words every human being wants to hear -“ I love you.” He taught me how important these three tiny words are to every human being.

Today, tell someone you love them. Don’t assume they know it, even if you have said it a million and one times…say it again. “I LOVE YOU❤️❤️❤️ Dad.
