Are You Tired But Wired?

One of the most common symptoms I hear patients concerned about is fatigue - no energy. In today’s world who isn’t stressed. I watch as families scatter in different directions trying to accomplish one goal - to get through the day. And we wonder why we are tried and stressed. Check out the cartoon and select which ones are causing your stress.

The adrenals are the stress glands. Whenever you are stressed you are expressing fear in some form. When this happens the sympathetic part of the autonomic (automatic) system kicks in to fight or flight and the adrenaline and cortisol starts pouring through your body.

The adrenals can only do this over production for so long and then they crash. So what can you do to help your adrenals?

Meditate (sit quietly with no disturbance for 20 minutes)

Take a good quality B Complex Vitamin (as long as you can methylate B vitamins.
Understand that all stress is an “inside job.” Start with how you are thinking about whatever it is that is causing stress. Change your perceptions.
